Hi, I’m Susan Doherty—a seasoned yoga teacher, wellness guide, and passionate advocate for women navigating the transitions of midlife and beyond. With over 500 hours of Yoga Alliance certification (E-RYT 500), I bring decades of experience teaching a wide range of practices, including Vinyasa, Yin, Restorative, Wisdom Warrior Flow, Prenatal Yoga, Yoga Nidra, and specialized spa-inspired yoga.
As a certified Menopause Yoga teacher and Menopause Coaching Specialist, I help women of all ages navigate the menopause journey with confidence and ease, providing personalized support to manage symptoms and embrace this transformative life stage. I’m also a MYOYIN specialist and a certified Women’s Circle Leader, creating safe, nurturing spaces for connection, reflection, and growth.
My holistic approach is deeply rooted in mindfulness and healing. I am a Reiki Master, trained in energy balancing and nurturing the subtle body, and a Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) practitioner, helping clients find calm amidst life’s challenges.
Whether it’s through movement, meditation, or mindful connection, my mission is to inspire women to own their “second act” with grace, strength, and purpose.
I believe that the transition through menopause is a spiritual awakening. We begin to see the world around us in a different light. This time of life is a positive opportunity for self examination and personal growth. It provides us with a chance to heal emotional pain and make peace with our past. We begin to befriend ourselves and our bodies so that we can step into our post reproductive life feeling released, renewed and empowered.
